The questions to ask anyone building your church's site, including us. Here are ours, in the open.
If we ever leave, do we own the site?+
Yes. All of it. Your domain is registered to your church from day one. Your content and photos are yours. And the site itself, code included, lives in a Webflow account that transfers to you. Once your term is up you can take it anywhere, and we'll help you move it. Nobody should have to rebuild a website to leave a vendor.
Why do you cost more than the inexpensive platforms?+
Some services build church websites for a fraction of this, and some of them are good. They keep the code and rent you a seat on their platform, which is how the price works. Here's what you're paying us for instead: a site your church owns outright, a Google presence someone actually manages every month, a person in Birmingham who'll sit in your building, and systems that follow up with your guests. If a platform fits your budget today, take it with our blessing, and call us when you outgrow it.
What if we can't afford Signature?+
Start with Foundation, or start with the free health check and the Google Business Profile rescue and see what changes. We don't cut Signature's price; we cut the scope, so what you buy is complete. Every tier steps up to the next without starting over, and the $0-down plan turns the build into a monthly line item your board can approve once.
How does $0 down actually work?+
Your monthly starts at kickoff instead of a build fee, and runs for 24 months. On month 25 it drops to the tier's standard monthly rate, and you're month to month from there. It's the same site and the same work, spread out for churches that plan by the month.
What's the term, exactly?+
If you pay the build, the monthly plan has a twelve-month minimum from launch, then runs month to month. If you go $0 down, the term is the twenty-four months. After either, give thirty days' notice and we transfer the whole site to you. A redesign down the road is a new project, quoted like one.
What if we sign and it isn't a fit?+
Within five business days of signing, either of us can call it off for a full refund. It's written into the agreement, and it works in both directions.
How long until we're live?+
You'll see a first version about a week after kickoff. From there the pace is set by content, not by us: with your photos and facts in hand, Foundation goes live in two to three weeks, and Signature in four to six because every page gets written. Your old site stays up until the new one is approved, so nothing goes dark in between.
Do we need anyone technical on staff?+
No. Your team can change words, service times, and announcements themselves, live in minutes (yes, even Brenda). Everything else, you send us and we handle it within two business days. That's the point of hiring the guy who does. And if nobody on your team wants to touch it, that's fine too: send requests our way and we make every change.
What's the monthly actually paying for?+
Hosting and security, your edits, the sermon and events keeping themselves current, the livestream banner, and a human on the other end. On Signature and up, it's also the monthly work on your Google presence, your guest follow-up, and a report that tells you what happened. The monthly is the part that keeps a website alive, which is how most church websites fail to be.
We're not a church. Can we still work with you?+
We take on a few businesses a year that want the same care. Same tiers, quoted privately. Reach out and tell us what you're building.
